First, the need to be loved and the feeling of incompleteness. Then the fear of others and paranoia, the contradictory desire to please and this inability to find real substance. It is these variations that L’invasion du vide/Invasion of empty tries to put under the magnifying glass by trying to physically translate the empty feeling, as terrible as beautiful.
