Jérémie Niel invites Catherine Gaudet to join him in a living room, as did Jean-Pierre Ronfard and Robert Gravel so candidly and without restraint in bygone days. They look each other in the eye, face to face.
Fissured by the artist’s life and its quest for the inaccessible, the choreographer and the director sit doggedly staring at each other, searching for a way to give voice to beauty, to the cracks and chasms, to love, chaos… everything they have been seeking from one dance studio to another, from one back alley to another, from one piece to the next.
