Hors-d'œuvre

Creation
year

2026

Hors-d’œuvre is structured around the contrast between dreams and cruel reality. A few steps sketched, repeated, clarified, refined… Like a knife being sharpened to slice, fate in its favour. Hors-d’œuvre is a phantom choreography that hesitates so much it almost disappears. Is it an ode to persistence and resistance, or does it represent a soul consumed by ambition? The muscle is taut, but the eye is moist. The walls close in, but the outside is so vast that one gets lost in it. Each step is an attempt, a breath on the embers of what remains—still a little—alive. It is no longer a rehearsal: it is an obsession. Something must give way. Or everything will go at once.
